Sam has been in the beauty industry for over twenty five years. She has worked in salons and spas nationally and internationally. She has also enjoyed being a company trainer and College lecturer for over ten years. She has her MA in Education and has also completed her Level 4 Beauty qualification.
She loves performing all treatments and loves catching up with clients during their visit.
Sam is the owner and has been a therapist at La Femme since 2003. She looks forward to welcoming you into the salon.
Chloe is our wonderful manager at La Femme. She has spent 14 years in the beauty industry - 4 years at an advanced beauty clinic and 10 years at La Femme. As well as completing her Level 3 in beauty and many additional qualifications, she has also completed Delforge management training to assist her development in her role as our salon manager.
Chloe was personally selected by Clarins in 2023 to participate in their Business Development Ambassador training which will further develop her management and business skills. She will only complete this training later on in 2024.
Chloe originally wanted to become a make-up artist but fell in love with beauty therapy when training at College. Although she enjoys the variety of all the treatments she offers, her favourite ones to do are pedicures, lash lifts and brow shaping.
Clients can expect a welcoming, professional and thorough treatment when they book in with Chloe and client care is a huge priority for her. She ensures all clients feel relaxed and uplifted after an appointment with her.
Personal interests outside of work are going to the gym, travelling and exploring new places. This is when Chloe can 'switch off' from work and have some me time. She also finds it fascinating to see how other countries on her travels practice beauty treatments.
Shannon is our Front of House Manager and manages the diary, staff and client bookings efficiently for us. She does limited beauty therapy during the week but you will be able to book with her on alternate Sundays too.
Shannon is an experienced therapist having qualified in Level 3 nearly ten years ago. She has also previously worked in retail with Clarins for over two years.
Shannon loves the beauty industry and how it is constantly innovating new treatments and products. She loves to interact with all our customers and make them feel good when they are with us.
During a treatment, Shannon likes to look after her clients to make sure they are comfortable and ensure they feel more confident after their appointment.
Outside of work you will find Shannon working out, travelling or spending time with her friends and dog Elon. She feels that these personal interest make you have a healthier approach to life and make you realise how important it is to look after yourself.
Chloe has completed her Level 3 in Beauty and has also completed her additional qualification in nail extensions. She has worked in both spa's and salons but has enjoyed seeing her clients more regularly in the salon.
Chloe's passion is doing nails but she also enjoys other treatments that add variety to her day. She loves paying attention to detail when doing nail services.
Chloe gets her inspiration from watching lots of nail tutorials online and seeing the end results which she can put into practice. She has loved painting anything and everything with nail polish since she was a child!
Chloe is an experienced therapist and enjoys taking care of her clients in her quiet and calm manner without excessive chatting.
Outside of work you will find Chloe out on bike rides or dressed up in her pink camouflage gear playing Airsoft.
Ellie has completed her Level 3 in Beauty Therapy along with many additional qualifications such as photographic make-up, tanning, lash extensions and gel nails.
She has developed her skills in lashes and has also completed her Russian Volume lash certificate which requires more technical skills. Ellie has worked hard to achieve all her Clarins training and also offers their bespoke pregnancy treatment.
Ellie is a very warm and welcoming character to all our clients and likes to ensure she knows what they expect from her treatment, in order to manage their expectations.
Her personal motivation which inspired her career in beauty was when she started practising make-up and nails. She realised she loves to make people feel and look good.
Ellie's personal interests outside of work are going to the gym and swimming. She feels these activities influence her approach to life and keeping her positive. She says that if she feels good, then she can give a better version of herself to her clients every day.
Amberley is qualified up to Level 3 in Beauty and has also completed all her Clarins training courses amongst numerous others in her short career. She first came to La Femme for her work experience from school and then during her College years, before working here once qualified.
She has always been into beauty since a young age and enjoyed walking the high streets with her mum picturing dreaming about her own salon when she got older.
Amberley's skill set is toward Clarins facials, eyelash extensions and pedicures, all of which which she enjoys performing on her clients. She is chatty and caring to all clients throughout any service and being a perfectionist, she likes everyone to leave looking and feeling their best.
Outside of work you can find Amber playing women's cricket during the summer. She loves how social and fun it is. She feels that playing this sport has boosted her confidence and helped develop an important quality for the salon which is ... team work!
Ellie has qualified to Level 3 in Beauty and has been at the salon for three years already. She has completed all her Clarins training and many additional courses. She is now nearly ready to offer brow lamination to our clients.
Her most favourite treatments to do are waxing, facials and spray tanning but also enjoys all nail treatments.
Ellie is friendly and welcoming to everyone that comes through the door and likes to provide a thorough service to all her customers.
Outside of work Ellie likes to treat her mum and dad to treatments and enjoys spending quality time with her family.
Bea has been qualified for nearly two years and has her Level 3 in Beauty. She also completed her work experience here at La Femme and we are happy she returned to become part of the team. As well as completing all of her Clarins training, she will also be training for her reflexology diploma in the coming year.
Her most favourite treatments are massage, facials, lash lifting and gel manicures.
Bea is chatty, polite and has a positive attitude. She enjoys meeting new clients and making people feel happy.
Outside of work she enjoys the gym but is also a proficient piano and clarinet player.
Lexy started at the salon in 2023 and is currently working towards her Level 2 apprenticeship in beauty. She is also working towards her certificate in brow lamination to compliment her love of brow and lash treatments.
When doing treatments, Lexy likes to make sure that clients are happy with the results of their treatment from her.
Lexy is our youngest team member and is constantly learning from the team and getting to know all our lovely clients. We love how she supports all of us when she is in the salon to make our day easier.
Outside of work you will find Lexy spending time with her family, friends and much loved dog.
